Evaluating grades course

Education is really important for people to get success in their lives. The society needs high educated person to improve the nation. In order to get human resource for the country, going to school is good way to get instruction. Some people think that grades course should evaluate based on taking exams. Others provide the value of grades course based on class participation.

To begin with, many people evaluate the grades course through taking exam. There are plenty of main points from lesson that include in the exams papers. It is a suitable and effective method to measure the ability of students through this technique. Students who work hard in their study will get good grades for their academic. Those who do not pay attention to their learning will achieve low result actually. We should not use other method to evaluate students’ capacity beside examination because they would be complex. And the result of measuring would not reasonable and believable as well. One more thing, students would try hard in their study to pass the exam and get good result too when grades are provided though taking exam. Therefore, taking exam is good way to evaluate the talent of the students.

Even though many people think that taking exams can be based to provide grade, many other people believe that class participation is good choice to give grades to students. When teacher do not give any thing for attendant to students, there would be many of them absent every day. Moreover, some students would become lazy from time to time. They would not come to school frequently too. They just wait until the exams day; they come to class. As instructors give score to students for class participation, there would be many students come to school more often. This is a good way to encourage students to come to class regularly. As a result, teachers would get good achievement in their career too.

From this, I choose taking exams to be based for providing grades to students. Class participation is just only small part in academic study for students. It can not use as the tool to measure the capacity of the students. Taking exams are good method to evaluate the ability of the student because they would try their best to complete all exercises in the exams papers.

Historical event effect on my country

Cambodia is one of the oldest countries in South East Asia. This nation passed numerous historical events. Long time ago, this country became a powerful nation in the region that is known as Angkor time. But around thirty eight years ago, this country had a dark period that people called Pol Pot regime.

To begin with, the government of Pol Pot regime forced people to move from the city to the countryside. Most people compelled to work on the farm strictly. They could not do other business beside this career. The government did not allow people to eat food fully. One more point, people were also obliged to make the water system through their energy as well. There were not any machines for helping people to work. Citizens needed to extend their power to exchange food. They normally ate only two times per day. It was really a hard work for them to work on the farm especially for people who came from the city. They never grew the crop when they live in the town. They just did their business such as selling products, work in the office, civil servant and so on.

In addition to impose the people to work on the farm, the government of Pol Pot regime killed many people during those days. There were around two million people died in that regime. Citizens who have high education were the first priority to kill. Secondly, people who came from the city were also the sign to eliminate too. People lived with hopeless in their mind. Every day, many people were killed with a small or no mistake. People did not allow discussing in group of five people at all. They needed to work silently, otherwise they would be killed. They could not also complain to work that the government provided them to do as well. Every thing prepared by the government, they did not to rise up their ideas.

From this, I can say that Pol Pot regime has had a major effect on my country. Old people include my parents still remember that bad time in their mind. They are still afraid of that regime in their mind. That event seems to be passed recently for them.

Visiting new place

Travelling is one of interesting activities for me in my free time. I like going abroad to visit new places. I can learn new experience from those to improve myself. When I have an opportunity to go abroad one more time, I would choose to go to South Africa.

To begin with, South Africa is a beautiful and fascinating country. There are a lot of trees there. Some trees are very tall as they are long time ago. They protect the environment and produce fresh air. I would feel powerful if I can see the view of the forest and get good air. I would also prepare some books to read when I lie down under the trees. It would be good activity for me that I can relax and improve my knowledge at the same time. The trees there also rain forest that attracts the rain for the farmer as well. One more thing, the forest is the shelter for animal too. There are many kinds of animal in South Africa such as an elephant, lions, tigers, monkeys, birds, wolfs, buffalos, reindeers, zebras and so on. It would be a great chance for me to see those animals closely. I would take photos to show my family and friends when I come back from there. It sounds a good leisure time for me to relax my free time.

In addition to above, I also can find out the culture of people who live there. The culture of people in each country is differently for each other. They would have both good and weak points actually. It would a good time for me to see the culture of people there. I want to find out the different between their culture and my culture. It would be easy to know the result through making a comparison. I would pick up good point of them to improve my own culture too. It would help me to strengthen myself as well. I would also understand the way that people there behave too. For example, I would know the popular job that people there normally want to work. I want to know the standard of living of people there too. Therefore, I would observe the people live during my holiday as well.

In short, it would be great trip for me for choosing to go to South Africa. I would have much time for relaxing. I would also take time to read a book that is one of may leisure activities.  I would see the view of the forest with various kinds of trees. I would see many types of animals which live in the forest too. I would learn the culture of people who live there too. I think that it is good decision for going there. It would be a great trip for me that I would not forget.
